Ciaran Sugrue's 46th-minute goal proved decisive as St Brigid’s survived a scare to defeat Mohill by 1-7 to 0-8 at Dr Hyde Park and set up a Connacht Club SFC final date with Corofin.
Eamonn O’Hara’s Mohill led by 0-4 to 0-3 at the interval, despite having their county midfielder Domhnaill Flynn black-carded in the 16th minute. However, they had played with a strong wind and St Brigid’s turned the tide after the restart with points from Ronan Stack and Brian Derwin before Surgue scored the only goal.
The Leitrim champions rallied with late points from Conor Quinn, Ronan Kennedy and Keith Beirne, but the Kiltoom men held on to reach another provincial decider.
