Tipperary manager Colm Bonnar has had to deal with another setback as Seamus Callanan is expected to be sidelined for at least the remainder of the Allianz Hurling League after breaking a bone in his hand.
The three-time All-Ireland SHC winner suffered the injury during a training session last Friday night, ruling him out for "a number of weeks."
Tipperary GAA posted a tweet to confirm the news ahead of this afternoon's Division 1B clash against Waterford at Walsh Park: "One change to the Tipperary Senior Hurling subs list with Alan Flynn replacing Seamus Callanan."
"Seamus sustained a broken bone in his hand at training on Friday evening and will be out for a number of weeks as a result."

It's a big blow to Bonnar, who has already lost fellow stalwart Padraic Maher to retirement, but Callanan is one player that he would hope to have available for the start of the Munster SHC.
Tipp will face Waterford at Walsh Park again on April 17 in their championship opener and it remains to be seen whether Callanan will be fit.
