I had great respect for many of the Kerry footballers down through the years, paudie o Shea, Jacko, Pat Spillane, bomber liston, maurice Fitz, o Shea Bros, and many more but I never had the same respect for Gooch. I think the others got great respect. The Gooch went missing on too many big days to gain the same level of respect. I am not in the least bit surprised that he's trying to cash in on it all. The others didn't. Says it all.

A dangerous tackle that took a man to the ground after the connection broke his jaw in 2 places.
Thats not fair shoulder to shoulder that is dangerous play and therefore merits a red card , a free but most of all the game stopped immediately and medical assistance called for and the ref did nothing.
John Small gets away with this 50 percent of the time.

I would love to know what medical team in the CCC decided that 6 days is adequate time to be back fully fit after covid. I don't care which of the 4 teams it is I think it's unbelievable that the GAA think they are above the rulings and guidelines of the medical advisors of this country. Tyrone could have stayed quiet if the lads had no symptoms and let them play in the Ulster final an spread the virus but they owed up and stuck by the guidelines.
Anyone that tested positive for covid last Sunday should not be coming out of quarantine for 14 days.

Mayo were totally flat today. Kerry were brilliant but I think most teams in the super 8s would have beaten Mayo today. Where was Aidan ó shea. In my humble opinion he appears to vanish on big occasions. A very over rated player. Mad to stamp around throwing his weight about before the throw in but I didn't see much of him for the next 70",minutes

Replying To Jack L: "Aah during a substitution there is 16 men on the field for a period of time. That is what I am saying there is no clear rule ie player cannot enter playing arena until substituted player exits arena. During a substitution play is meant to stop.
The reason team managers make tactical substitutions during injury time ( 2 or 3) is to delay time. Play stops during substitutions. Time is added on at the discretion of the referee." It is a delay tactic to kill time. The other player always jogs or walks off the pitch but clearly heads to go out across the white line. In this instance that didn't happen and there was clearly bad sportsmanship involved and a clear case of cheat to hold onto the lead to win the competition.

Some people seem to have serious gripe about our Ulster Champions. I cant figure it out. I love to see the team representing Ulster doing good as they move forward. Anyway so many people questioning....how did Tyrone get covid??? ( including T O Shea) Well it's very easy to get it. The carrier can walk into a dressing room full vaccinated non symptomatic carrying the deadly virus and if he's in that room more than 15 minutes he could have given covid to anyone that came within a yard of him. Theyre not going to be sick or show symptoms for 5 to 7 days. Vaccinated or not. By that time they too will have spread it.
Its why many people who have been infected call it ...the plague..

I think that theyres a serious sense of hype that follows certain players and they end up being untouchable.
Take the Gooch, He cost us an all Ireland final spot because certain refs believed that he would do nothing outside the rules.
It's the umpires who called in the ref in this instance and told him their story. There was a lot of niggling going on from both sides .I
Our neighbours Tyrone deserved their win .McCarthy Curry was outstanding.

Congratulations to the dubs. Hard luck Mayo. Dublin played 76 minutes Mayo dident play a full 60 min. Some members of the Mayo team were fantastic but the problem was that Dublin had the better all round players. I feel sorry for Cillian O Connor but again Aidan O Shea didn't manage to score.
I think the team that plays 75 minutes against Dublin will beat them on todays performance.

That match was won by team play, sheer determination, pure grit, men putting their bodies and heads where our county players would hardly put their boot. That was Dooher explosion. Kerry peaked too early this year. They were unable to keep that level of fitness up . Tyrone had far tougher battles to get to their semi final. This is brilliant for gaelic football. What a final its going to be now. Well done to our neighbours Tyrone and their management and backroom team in their first season.

RTÉ dropped him because they had no other choice. He was too arrogant, he got the whole predictions wrong about the final. He was dug into Spillane before the game started, he kept interrupting the panel, he couldn't accept that he had got the whole thing so completely wrong so his scape goat was blame the referee and get personal about it to make it stick. Proper order. Delighted to see Stephen Rochford on. There will be no bad manners from him but great analysis.

It's embarrassing for true Gaels to read some of the posts on here now.
This talk about cynicism. Who is holier that who? If I was given a thousand Euro this minute to go into the bookies and put it on the winner for next Sunday I'd be hoping nó one was looking and I'd be splitting it on both teams.
It would be a dream come through for monaghan to win Sam.
Tyrone was the first team to take the Sam through Monaghan on their way home. It was fantastic.
We all want Monaghan to beat our neighbours and make their first ever All Ireland final but if they fail then I will be supporting our Ulster team and hoping that they can finish the job.
No disrespect to Dublin but they need to be beaten to keep interest in the championship.

If a referee makes a big decision then it's only good manners to explain to the player exactly why he's doing this. Theyre not God. They have a right to be answerable to someone. Its really getting players backs up in games that's already niggly.

I'd say Joe Brolly had Tyrones obituary written as did the RTÉ boys but the Tyrone lads had other plans. I admire this Dublin team but they are no saints either and whatever happened in the tunnel wasn't one sided I'd imagine but the commentators seemed to jump to the conclusion that it was Tyrones fault. Last week there wasn't a word once Tyrone got hammered but attentions were turned on Donegal. That match wasn't without contraversary either.
