Sean died in the 10th June, aged 80, two days after his cousin Patsy (Chap) Black. He played with Bellewstown in the early years of the club and was a true follower of the Meath team through the years. Trevor Giles was his favourite player. He also looked after Bellewstown Racecourse for many years and was one of the greatest Ring Throwers in Meath, Louth and north county Dublin. When Sean passed away Bellewstown lost one of its greatest characters.
