Not a bad looking team Dunboynelad. A few natural forwards in there. I've seen a fair bit of DL and agree he looks the real deal. Was disappointed he didn't get more of a run last year but hopefully this year he will nail down a place. SmallHouse (Meath) - Posts: 291 - 15/01/2016 16:48:36 1816922 Link 0 |

Well I think if we had everyone fit, wouldn't it be great with 20mins to go to bring the likes of McMahon and McEntee on? ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 15/01/2016 18:31:56 1816940 Link 0 |

Its great to have options but Mcentee is a certainty to be in the first 15. brian (Meath) - Posts: 1994 - 15/01/2016 20:32:47 1816963 Link 0 |

1 wouldn't go with paddy , been there done that, he costs us at least 3 points per game, add his attitude and he could cost a 14 man team royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 16/01/2016 18:50:31 1817059 Link 0 |

I see daire Rowe scored 8 against Westmeath. Was anybody at the game? bert09 (Meath) - Posts: 1839 - 16/01/2016 19:18:33 1817062 Link 0 |
Oh ziggy I agree, he will be the keeper, but I just feel we making same mistakes, unfortunately royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 16/01/2016 19:57:33 1817068 Link 0 |
It's only O'Byrne cup but I can't wait for this one today. Winning becomes a habit and a major positive from the Laois game is the fact that we won it. If we lost we wouldn't be in the position we are today. I accept that playing styles etc are important but lets get to a final and bring some enthusiasm and pride back to the county JohnJoeRoyal (Meath) - Posts: 56 - 17/01/2016 11:27:10 1817099 Link 0 |
Agree johnjoe. But along with a win today I want to see something that gives me hope for the year ahead, the last 5 minute last weekend was just that, now lets see it for full 70. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 17/01/2016 11:50:35 1817103 Link 0 |
O'Byrne cup not worth much to us only benefit would be preventing Dublin winning it thus they couldn't complete the clean sweep of titles 2 years in a row! Jimin10 (Meath) - Posts: 783 - 17/01/2016 12:07:01 1817106 Link 0 |

Should be out of sight, some good individual performance, but team and particularly finishing looks disjointed. Still expect to win. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 17/01/2016 14:40:19 1817119 Link 0 |

Couldn't make the match today but sounded tasty enough on the wireless, plenty of wides which is a concern as not taking chances was one of the big rocks we perished on last year, shooting practice needed but nice to get to the final against unexpected opposition in Longford, fair play to them beating the Dubs Richieq (Meath) - Posts: 3763 - 17/01/2016 15:48:12 1817127 Link 0 |
Well called bert. Looking forward to a final in Navan v Longford. Should be a tough game that will stand to us when we play Armagh. LMFM as usual bigging up the significance of the local derby today. Imagine if it was a Meath v Louth all-ire final. Jimin10 (Meath) - Posts: 783 - 17/01/2016 15:49:36 1817128 Link 0 |
