It must be somebody's fault, and they must pay for it!!"

Cheers, just seen there now. Maybe Donal Leinhan might play some part in this one if his recovery is going good.

Replying To royaldunne:  "It would have to be agreed by all parties is what I'm hearing and bnm seemingly have their big wigs all set up for a weekend in mullingar, hotels etc all sorted. I think they may have final say.
Btw I agree with your point, just not so sure it will happen like that."
What you heard was totally wrong yet again. Where do you hear such nonsense about the 'big wigs' from BNM having the 'final say'.

What about the poor people who had already bought tickets for the O'Byrne Cup Final?.. This is an outrage... ;-)

I don't think either Meath or Westmeath would be overly concerned if the Bale of Briquettes Cup wasn't played at all

Me too. We need to win to put us one ahead of the dubs on the O'Byrne Cup roll of honour. They have crept up level with us in recent years, so we need to put them back in their place! A win would also leave us just 1 behind the lily whites on the all-time list. We may yet see the day when we are the kingpins of the O'Byrne cup - we live in hope!!

seriously lads, OBC roll of honor. If anyone said to me we have more OBC titles than Meath. I think I burst laughing in his face.

It's a shame you can't put GIFs on this forum, because if ever a post deserved the Patrick Stewart double face palm GIF, it's this one.

As I was typing the original post, I thought to myself "I bet some clown somewhere is going to take this seriously". Take a bow Bob.

With more rain forecast right up until Sunday, is there a possibility that Breffni Park might be unplayable yet again, and if so, should they lose home advantage or forfeit the game?
