Good man Ratlag. My football status has reached Ratoath. Some say that the great Paddy Keenan learned a thing or two from myself. Anyway if you are heading over to Rossieland could you and your Royal Buddies go in and shout for the Wee County hurlers even for the second half. I will return the favour if the Louth footballers and Meath hurlers are playing on the same double bill providing the hurlers are not playing the Wee Hurlers. Best of luck on Sunday to the Royals.

He has no hair we dont care Ollie Ollie Murphy..... I remember 2001 All-Ireland final stadium announcement " substitution Paddy Reynolds for Ollie Murphy" . And with that went last glimmer of hope of winning that one.

If we bate Roscommon at the weekend I'm sure there'll be talk of us going all the way in the championship.

Believe Ollie dislocated two fingers and something and told the physio to pop them back in and taper them up.
Physio had to tell him that he needed to go off the pitch and think about his career outside football.

That was an odd day and year, classics with Westmeath in leinster and the quarters, Dublin weren't great but it was still Meath and Dublin. Semi v Kerry was the strangest game ever, you knew there was something up when John McDermott was scoring goals... and ended up winnng by 15 points..

Ahh those were great old days.
But back to here and now. Sunday looks like been quite windy from forecast I got this morning with passing heavy showers, might be a bad day for open football, but win is all I care about.

The Divisio is that close in terms of the teams in it that I can see the difference between a 'relegation battle' and 'promotion candidates' will only be about 3-4 points I would say!!!

Wow not a chance is that going to happen, look how close we were last year to getting promotion, this year Andy is going to make sure there is no relegation!!!

We shouldn't be IF we play to our potential, hopefully no slip ups like Down last year and we should be challenging at the right end of the table come April time.
