Teresa was the matriarch of a large Kilskyre family. Many of her sons hurled with Kilskyre and played football with Ballinlough at underage level. Her eldest son Michael (Mick) lined out for the Kilskyre hurlers over a long number of years and wore the Meath jersey in the underage ranks.
