Campbell, Kevin


Louth native Kevin was heavily involved with his adopted Duleek, was an Honorary President of the Duleek/Bellewstown club and was best known for his exploits on the refereeing scene.

A very effective and respected inter county official for many years, the Duleek man took charge of numerous high profile encounters.

He was also active on the Meath club scene and officiated at many county finals. In 1988 he was chosen as the Meath Referee of the Year.

For a number of years Kevin Campbell ran a popular sports shop on Ludlow St., Navan. Medals and trophies were his speciality and he subsequently became friendly with many club officials.

Kevins sons, Paddy and Kevin, both played adult football for Duleek GFC.
