Kells, Co. Meath-based European Industrial Coatings (EIC) has officially announced the Irish launch of Baufan Supernova, a high-performance, ready-to-use line-marking paint.
Manufactured in Germany and a staple of German sports clubs where it is distributed by Kübler Sport, Supernova is specifically engineered for modern autonomous GPS robotic marking systems and high-spec stadium sprayers.
Designed to meet the rigorous demands of elite GAA venues—as well as high-volume commercial contractors—Baufan Supernova is supplied ready-to-use with no water dilution required. Along with high-visibility White, the range is also available in Blue, Yellow, Green, and Red for multi-sport line marking and turf branding.
The commercial rollout follows extensive field testing across Irish sporting facilities, including an inaugural trial at Gaeil Colmcille’s Grangegodden pitches in Kells. During high-intensity championship fixtures, Supernova produced bright white razor-sharp line definition with rapid drying times.
"Modern GPS marking Robots are a massive investment for contractors and clubs, but they are only as reliable as the liquid running through them," said Tom Healy at European Industrial Coatings.
"Baufan Supernova brings proven German manufacturing standards directly to the Irish market. It eliminates costly equipment downtime while giving ground crews that brilliant, stadium-grade finish on match day."
