The redeveloped Páirc Tailteann is set to be handed over to Meath GAA on 12 April 2027, according to an update provided to delegates at Monday night's County Committee meeting.
The projected completion date was among a number of significant developments outlined by Noel Dempsey during his report on the progress of the county's flagship redevelopment project.
Delegates were informed that the redevelopment remains on schedule, with the arrival of the precast elements for the new stand expected in July.
County Committee members also heard that contractors Sisk recently organised a local community day, giving residents and supporters an opportunity to see first-hand the progress being made on site and gain a greater appreciation of the scale of the development.
There was also positive news on the financial front, with confirmation that the loan required to fund the redevelopment has been agreed on a 20-year repayment term, providing certainty around the long-term financing of the project.
The Páirc Tailteann redevelopment, which includes a new stand and floodlight infrastructure, represents one of the most ambitious capital projects ever undertaken by Meath GAA.
