Watch: Derry fire in three first-half goals to rock Clare at Croker

Rory Gallagher’s Derry side made an electric start to the first of today’s All-Ireland SFC quarter-finals at Croke Park by netting three goals in opening 35 minutes against Clare.

Benny Heron hammered in the Ulster champions’ first major after 10 minutes and it’d be backed up by a superb finish from Conor Glass two minutes later.

The Banner men responded with a goal of their own from Pearse Lillis on 32 minutes, but the Oak Leafers wiped it away one the of half-time with another fine strike from Cassidy to take in a commanding 3-6 to 1-3 lead at headquarters.
