All-Ireland winner Killian Spillane scored 0-5 as Templenoe made history by qualifying for their first ever Kerry club SFC final thanks to a 0-14 to 0-10 win over 14-man Dingle on home turf.

Spillane, and Stephen O’Sullivan (0-3), pointed the way on a memorable occasion at the Dromore Sportsfield that saw the Kenmare District side set up a showdown with Kerin's O'Rahilly's.

Trailing by 0-8 to 0-5 at half-time, Dingle were on the backfoot from the get-go after Dylan Geaney was shown a straight red card in the opening minute following an incident with opponent John Rice.

In Saturday evening's other semi-final, Kerins O'Rahilly's edged out hosts Spa on a 1-16 to 0-16 scoreline.

Extra-time was needed to separate the sides as Jack Savage's 40th minute penalty goal proved crucial in the end.

In the IFC quarter-finals, Kerry goalkeeper Shane Ryan spearheaded Rathmore's challenge from full-forward, with his 1-3 tally helping them to a 3-11 to 1-16 victory against Laune Rangers.

Meanwhile, Kingdom ace David Clifford notched 1-6 for Fossa in their hard-fought 1-15 to 1-11 JFC quarter-final win away to Annascaul.
