Looking highlights of Kerry and Galway and noticed a trend of Kerry forwards pinning down defenders on opposition kickouts. When will referees clamp down on this cynicism from Kerry??

Replying To KingdomBoy1:  "Hi at least our supporters have an excuse unlike yer lads, I read that our kerry team and supporters will have to travel over 2,800 km that's double what dublin have in 1,400km in this year's league alone with away trips to dublin Tyrone Monaghan and Mayo."
I never heard a kerry supporter complain about travelling pre 2011? Wasn't croke park the home of kerry football?

Replying To football first:  "Funnily enough, I seem to remember both Kiernan Donaghy and Darran O'Sullivan both openly talking about giving up their fulltime jobs a few years ago, so that they could concentrate on their football! Going back even further, wasn't the 4-in-a-row team supported by Bendix and Adidas, before any other inter-county squad benefitted from proper sponsorship?? Pot...kettle..."
PK employed 15 of the kerry panel in his stores last year. All were given the weeks between AI finals off to recover. They have been training 3 nights a week since October bank holiday. Can limerick, tipp and Clare compete with this? We wouldnt even beat Kerry 5/6th choice 15 players.

Replying To Young_gael:  "There is always a very subtle but edgy element to Kerry GAA, its apparent in a lot of other counties, including my own of course. A difference however that sets Kerry apart is that Kerry try to maintain a false image of maturity, and superiority, the god-given right, the divine right. Butter wouldn't melt. Always a plethora of false modesty and empathy for teams when they're winning, and excuses and yakety yak when they lose. I still remember the abuse and vitriol from 2001 when Meath beat Kerry by 15 points in an all-Ireland semi. To this day they still blame the white jerseys they wore on the day. Its a sense of superiority that likely goes back a few generations, but its also masked with huge issues with self esteem and image, and pock marked by insincerity. Its not real. When Kerry are winning all-Irelands everything is a-ok, when they're not winning all-Irelands the ugly head rears again. Im as interested in sorting out the issues of the GAA as anyone, and yes everyone else has suffered while Dublin got bigger, better, and richer and that isnt up for debate at this stage, but Kerry fell short this decade and thats just it. They got close but not close enough and thats not anyone's fault. Dont worry, youll be back winning all-Irelands soon enough, maybe one out of every 3/4 that the Dubs somehow mess up. I think 2020 could be a big year for Kerry, they play great football no question about it but be wary of wolves in sheep's clothing."
When Tyrone were beating it was all about bullied, puke football. When Kerry done same to Cork and Mayo it was all about laying markers and manning up .kerry supporters can be very patronising when winning but true colours show when defeated.

Ah boy Timmy. I belive Burns is below Tralee RTC. I answered severel. Peter Kane has several stores and players throughout them. Brian Begley works in his Cahirveen stop, A nice lad he is. He helped my husband bring out the groceries when we shopped there in july last year,

Replying To TheHermit:  "A county that was a laughing stock at inter-county level suddenly winning 7 All Irelands! But I'm sure money had nothing to do with it, or the home advantage, or the professional set-up :D"

Replying To Donegalman:  "I just watched a rerun of the sending off of both players, Harte and Clifford. An absolute shambles by the ref on the Harte sending off. An absolute shambles by the umpires on the Clifford sending off. Very cynical indeed by Tyrone to systematically target Clifford like this. That's all I can say about it other than the umpires should now be schooled on taking responsibility on issues. I hope neither gets to officiate a game for a long time to come, that would send out a good message to others."
Peter Harte was subjected to a couple nasty off the ball challenges. Was same last year in semi final when tom Sullivan held harte for the whole game. If McNamee done that to Clifford he be gone after 20 minutes . Geaney and Oshea are playing very cynical in their new sweeper roles.

I wouldnt read anything into these votes they are alway bought of to suit the gaa and smaller counties are bullied into voting what they are told to do"
Have you evidence of this??

Replying To GeniusGerry:  "No chance it would happen, ever. And yes, simple solution to ensure that you never have this type of controversy again is not to select refereees who have ties to participating counties. I would however dispute that he had a bad game. I think people's view of his performance was coloured by the embarrassing analysis in the RTE studio by Brolly and Whelan. It was the most biased and unprofessional piece of sports broadcasting I have ever seen, I was actually cringing watching the recording they made such fools of themselves."
As bad as Pat Spillane crying on live air live after losing to Tyrone harping on about puke football?

Replying To TheUsername:  "Something like, the Sean O Shea's pull down in the last minute of the first game in the final this year to give away an unscorable free as the Dubs were working the ball into a scoring position is an example of cynical play. To be fair though, id have no complaints in the same context if the Dubs had done it as well. As one of the lads was saying every county does it, Kerry increasingly so and they would be mad not to, given the joy you can get out of their back line in open play."
SOS has been getting away with a lot of cynical play the last couple years. Was shy to drag Peter harte off the ball last week.

Replying To KingdomBoy1:  "It only happens to us kerry folk Gerry as they don't want the hard questions asked. I asked will the CCCC do anything about the strikes on kerry player by Mccarthy and scully? and John small was the 3rd man into the melee they are red cards by today's rules, there was a lot of high tackles to the heads of the kerry players as well all went unpunished."
Mickey Burns could be in a spot of bother too.
