Munster PP Schools competitions cancelled

February 25, 2021

The Harty Cup (Munster Post Primary Schools Senior 'A' Hurling Championship).

There will be no Secondary School GAA competitions in this academic year following the latest Government Announcements regarding Level 5 Covid-19 restrictions.

It was announced in January that the All-Ireland Post Primary competitions would not be played in this academic year but there was hope that the provincial competitions could still go ahead if restrictions were eased.

With it now unlikely that there will be any GAA activity until after Easter, which would begin with intercounty level only, Munster Post Primary Schools Committee announced this morning that they are cancelling all outstanding provincial competitions.

Similar news is expected from the other three provinces.
