Mulligan would make you laugh with his interview on off the call. Players want more games he says! He left the panel 3 years in a row before all qualifiers were finished.

Replying To Tacaí Liatroma:  "If Enda Stenson's interview in the Observer is anything to go by, we'd have been going up there with 14 players. To my knowledge, you can start a game with 13 but you gotta have 15 by the time the second half starts. So they'd have gone all the way up to Down for 35 minutes of competitive football. And still would have had to concede. And imperil the 14 who did go up."
Gullible much!

Replying To liatroim_abu:  "Spiritofeslin...I was at the game too and think they got their selection right... remember a few of those wides missed in the first half were quite narrow would have gone over other days...Derry seemed to have an extra gear when needed but Leitrim gave them a good rattle...if that Derry defender had not been on the line we might have got a jammy goal bit still think Derry would have slugged it out..every Leitrim player deserved to be on the pitch..they have the right mixture of discipline, commitment and talent...and discipline has been Leitrims failing in the recent past..it was a great battling display... I was a proud Leitrim man that day!"
Any person that knows anything about Leitrim football and been at league games will tell you Terry got it wrong with a couple of selections. Mulligan been the main one.

Replying To OnTheBank:  "First game next weekend. Most positive vibes coming out of the camp in years. Short on defenders overall which is a worry and has seen James Mitchell from Mohill being called up quite late. The plan is also to fly Jack Gilheaney home from France for the next few months while he is studying there. Ray Mulvey and Oisin McCaffey also have not been able to train yet due to injury. Due to Sigerson (Plunkett, Doalan and McGloin) and a stag do which has been flagged months in advance along with a few niggling injuries and some of the U20s who are on the panel won't be considered we will be missing up on 10 for next weeks game. I would expect us to line out something like this: McKiernan Reynolds Farrell Mitchell Bruen Wrynn/Gilheaney Flynn Moran Flanagan McGovern Rooney Riordain 'O'Rourke/Keegan O'Rourke Beirne Brady Obviously not to much expected as a result of the players that are missing and the time of year etc but as a previous poster pointed out the Match last year got us off to a good start which we gained belief from."
Not much expected!!! You expect a near full strength team giving its 2 weeks out from the start of the national league.

Lads let's be honest hurling in the weaker counties is muck to watch and you would only have 50 people at a game if you were lucky.

Mohill left it behind again it has to be said. What is it with this team, they should have been further ahead at half time. I did say during the week, hold Beirne you go a long way to beating them. Few funny calls on the line too, keeper had a melt down for a few Kickouts. Poor game but well done to St Mary's, enjoy the celebrations as you went out to win the game in the second half and did just that. I don't think the manager been linked publicly to a coaching ticket with Mayo helped him either.

Absolute disaster of a year all round. Think it's time for a change and I don't think I'm harsh saying that. There hasn't been any improved at all and that's the main concern I have. Don't be coming at me with the usual nonsense of who would I give the job too etc but someone else should be given the chance

Terry's master stroke pulling out of the Down game has backfired. If he was clearly worried about his players getting Covid he would have pulled today's game. Lads needed a competitive game and it was clear to see that today.

Replying To arcadia:  "Not just for people abroad... Won't there only be 200 allowed into the 2020 Senior Final next weekend, and that will likely go up by the time the 2021 knock-outs kick in. It still potentially leaves a big population domestically who would want to be able to watch the 2020 and 2021 finals online this year. I've not seen any plans for broadcast of games this year so my guess is that it will be Shannonside FM this time around and let your imagination do the rest."
Look at Cavan tonight broadcasting their league final with Martin mcHugh on comms, all Leitrim championship games can be streamed too. Longford county board always behind

Be mad to get rid of the manager. He got ye back to division 2 which was the main target for Cavan. Yes disappointing to lose out to Derry but he is the right man for the job.

If that's true you couldn't blame them. Moran isn't getting a twist out of these players which is clear to see. Keith Beirne making him and the team look better than they are.

So the management gets a pass for another poor set up. Game there to be won and they set up so poorly. Was in Carrick at the Leitrim game beforehand and it's day and night the difference between both sides. Fair enough Leitrim are playing in division 4 but there at our level and try to play a game to win. Even off the field they are miles ahead. Another car draw I see too lol

Replying To lugdrum:  "I don't believe Andy has done a real bad job. Has been unlucky not have Ryan ORourke last year and David Bruen gone travelling. Jack Heslin gone this year with paddy Maguire retiring and obviously Keith Berine hasn't been involved yet. I think Andy will step away at the end of the season if promotion is not secured. If Mickey Graham doesn't take it on then 2 men I would be head hunting without a doubt is Malachy O'Rourke can't see any county teams with travelling distance looking for a new manager come the end of the season. So many changes in Ulster already. I would also have a conversation with Rory Gallagher see what his interest would be in the position. I Would say Andy has moved on the professionalism and also S&C the next man who or when that is has to continue that."
Graham will take the job100% after Andy.

Replying To Champotime18:  "Let's be honest if I was told we would have 1 point after the first 3 games I'd prob have taken it. It's a huge step up from div 4. If we win this weekend then we have the head to head on Offaly as we will Both be on 3 points. Louth will have zero points. There is a real possbility that if we win this weekend then 3 points could keep us up. Even if Louth beat us they will still need another another draw to get to 3 points Offaly remaining fixtures are down tipp and Derry I cant see them winning any of them. Louth have Derry Leitrim Cork and down. As I said above even if they beat us they still need another result. So if leitrim can win this weekend it may actually be enough to stay in division 3."
3 points will not be enough to keep us up and we won't beat Louth
