The final pairings for this year’s Christy Ring, Nickey Rackard and Lory Meagher Cups have been confirmed following this afternoon’s results in the tiered hurling competitions.

With Kildare having booked their berth last weekend, the Lilywhites are now set to face Derry in next weekend’s Christy Ring Cup final after the Oak Leafers recorded an emphatic 4-30 to 0-19 win over Sligo at Markievicz Park today which also saw the home side relegated.

In the Nickey Rackard Cup, Mayo and Donegal will battle it out at Croke Park for the silverware next weekend.

Mayo and Roscommon finished all square on a 2-16 to 1-19 at Dr Hyde Park, which was enough for the visitors to progress, while Donegal hit Louth for four goals in a 4-19 to 1-20 win at Dowdallshill.

Meanwhile, Fermanagh’s 2-21 to 3-18 draw against Longford means that both teams qualify for the Lory Meagher Cup final at headquarters next weekend, with neighbours Cavan the team to miss out in this place despite crushing Leitrim (7-19 to 0-18) in Drumshambo earlier today.

All three finals will take place at Croke Park next weekend (times and dates TBC).
