Meath SFC finalists St Peter's Dunboyne and Wolfe Tones both have notable connections to Cavan club Ramor United.
As the sides prepare to meet in the Keegan Cup decider for the first time in history, the Dunboyne team will feature former Ramor and Cavan star Conor Bradley, while the Tones manager is Michael McDermott, who led the Virginia outfit to their last Cavan SFC title in 2016.
Bradley was a vital cog in McDermott's Ramor side that defeated Castlerahan after a replay to claim the Oliver Plunkett Cup before switching his club allegiance to Dunboyne for the 2020 season.
McDermott also previously managed the Clare senior footballers for three seasons and brought Banner County club Kilmurry-Ibrickane to the brink of an All-Ireland club title in 2010, only to be beaten in the final by St Gall's of Antrim.
At the same time tomorrow afternoon, Ramor United will contest the Cavan SFC final against Gowna at Kingspan Breffni.
