Former Offaly forward Thomas Deehan has been wished a speedy recovery after undergoing major surgery recently.
'Tomo', as he's affectionately known, had a kidney removed after discovering a growth on it just days before he was due to line out for Clara in their Leinster club IFC semi-final win over Kilcock a week before Christmas. The Offaly senior 'B' champions will face Trim in next Sunday's final without the veteran attacker, but the most important thing is that the growth was discovered on time and that he is expected to make a full recovery.
TweetWould like to wish Thomas Deehan all the best and glad to hear he is recovering well from a major kidney operation last week.

It’s also great that Thomas wants to highlight the importance of getting your health checked as he continues with his recovery from such a serious op 👏🏻 pic.twitter.com/l1z2hTJMKd
