Mickey Harte Leaves Louth To Become The New Derry Manager - 1 Like(s)

Replying To BarneyGrant:  "How does Brolly donating an organ have anything to do with his constant sneering at other people? His mocking of Mayo, if someone did the same about others, would have him affecting outrage. They were not the only ones of course, Marty Morrissey, Cavanagh, and now Mickey Harte. He is well deserving of any kickback that comes his way."
No bother to you Barney Grant...nothing wrong with your memory and you can throw in his slating of Cavan a few years ago...when a couple of Cavan wags showed up with a brolly is a tool banner he went ballistic... ...hope his stands by his shout that he's not going back to watch Derry Seniors play... that'll do me grand...

The Derry County Board have issued a statement rejecting any return to the Derry management but they haven't said why or on what grounds they have made this decision. They owe an explanation to the Derry support and to anyone else who believes that RG should have been properly and fairly assessed and interviewed for the position same as everybody else although at this point in time - 11 weeks after the closing date - I don't have a baldies notion if anybody was interviewed. Bloody shambles...

Looks like Paddy Tally with Enda and others.. Prior to MH appt last year after Derry's second Ulster and the performance v Kerry in the AISF everybody I know from around the country were talking about Derry and their exciting sometimes brilliant and at other times devastating style of football. On top of this given our phoenix like rise from Div 4 to Div 1 in 4 years most genuine gaa people had a genuine desire to see Derry doing well. The RG debacle has soured a lot of this goodwill and the monumental failure to attract and secure a forward looking progressive coaching team by the DCB since July has everybody talking about us again but for all the wrong reasons. Paddy Tally is a Tyrone man and unlike Brolly I have no problem with that. We have previous with this man He is an honest smart coach and he knows Derry football He sees the undoubted potential in the current squad and he's well aware of our winning minors in the background If and when the DCB appoint him...if they also announce that they 'got the man they always wanted' then I'm getting myself a Tyrone shirt... By the time this is moderated and put up...Tally may well have let the world know that nobody from the DCB had even asked him...
