Extended panel members will be allowed to attend on match days from tomorrow on.
Minister for Sport Jack Chambers revealed in a tweet this morning that "full panels will be permitted to attend on match days when Ireland moves to Level 3 from tomorrow".
This will be welcome news for those managers whose teams are still involved in the All-Ireland competitions.
Limerick manager John Kiely, for example, has been vocal critic of the 26-player limit imposed on county teams.
"That would be a massive mistake. It would be an unforgivable mistake if they don’t let the players come to the final, unforgivable, unforgivable. I hope they will," he said in the wake of yesterday's semi-final success over Galway.
Glad to confirm that full panels will be permitted to attend on match days when Ireland moves to Level 3 from tomorrow
