We are Cavan after putting up Lewis Fay Cooper player of week for week 1.

Good on young Cooper, having seen him play twice now in the park I am convinced he is one for the future, surely should be considered for at least the extended Cavan panel at least next year. Thoughts?

Well deserved and congrats to the 2 lads. Galligan has one of the best kick-outs in the country and made a number of fine saves, including a penalty v Armagh at a pivotal point in the game. Does any body know who got Player of The Week for last week (Sunday October 2nd? I would imagine Ado Cole will be a big contender this week, Stephen Monaghan also had one of his best ever matches.

Didn't think Mackey had a good year this year. Went to most of the games from quater finals on and the player that stood out for me was James Brady. His scores at crucial times especially goals were crucial. Conal Sheirdan from Arva also wore 12 but played a lone role in the full forward line kicking some crucial scores. Ado cole was mom in both county finals but quiet before that . Brein o Connell would be my Senior player of the year. Conal Sheirdan intermediate and Dan Wharton junior.

Would have to agree with you Breffnifan, Brian O'Connell would be my player of the year, he is only 20 and has a great future ahead of him at County level.

He Scored a goal and point in final .Think he was Ramor s top scorer from play in a year they won the championship. I'd pay in to see him any day . Only my opinion. Conal Shierdan the same even though he takes the frees most of his scores were from play . 2 great forwards in the making . Shane Tierney is in there despite not having a good game against Ramor in Semi but had a good year and a player I'd like to see play for Cavan . Don't know about some of the backs . His goal in final was handed to him on plate by Ado. He definitely had an impressive year but Cooney gave him his fill in final. I'd like to see Ado get a chance in Cavan squad and Enda O Connell who is a great man marker. Brian O Connell too is a potential star. There a few physical players from Lacken who should get a look. If Lacken get the right manager I believe they'll win championship next year.
