Cavanbyrd,
What do you fancy Buttlersbridge to win this weekend?
It's surely not the intermediate quarter final, seeing as that is on next weekend!!!

Arva showed character last night to grind out a win they are weak but in important areas in front of there own goal but they'll take beating,

Two games should be tight and a good showing this evening with Ballyhaise and Bailiebough to come through the challenge facing them.

So my 4 predictions were right for the semi finals.

If Belturbet had have got Drumlane in the semis that would have been a great game.
Anyway I think it'll be a Arva v Ballyhaise final.
What do ya's think lads??

after seeing all 8 teams in action at weekend, Ballyhaise will take all the beating. strong all over the park cant see any other team coping with their forwards of smith tierney moore. arva leaked goals friday night but had firepower up the other end to dig them out. drumlane beat bailieboro with ease but won't have near enough for ballyhaise. rories showed good resolve last night and will get strong with each game.
Predicting Ballyhaise v rories in the final even though arva rories is a very tough call but ultimately ballyhaise will be far too stong.

The only reason Ballyhaise are still in the championship is because of the substitutions ButlersBridge made in the last 20 minuets, crazy crazy crazy decisions

I think Drung will be asking themselves how they let that slip away after being in such a commanding position. They just couldn't close it out. I think that was a kick in the backside and wake up call for Arva and they will now make the final and probably win it. Ballyhaise on the other side should have too much for Drumlane so Arva v Ballyhaise final for me with Arva to win narrowly!

Hope that they are good semis. I would be happy to see any of the 4 remaining teams win it to be honest.

I have tried several times to explain why Ballyhaise won but I am sure they know they were handed Victory on a plate and by whom. Just cut my post short because as usual hoganstand will not post the facts when put in writing by posters.

wouldn't live too far from ballyhaise and I can already smell the fear coming the village.... must be getting close to the business end of the championship.

Are you sure that's not just the smell of the agricultural college ?i always said Ballyhaise would be the most likely winners and I still stick by that !

Having saw all four teams play last weekend , Can't see ballyhaise being bet far too much firepower up front and overall better footballers , Arva are too young and inexperienced to win an intermediate this year I feel , When the push comes to shove i don't think their big players are good enough

Good man Cavanbyrd, you're claiming now that you said Ballyhaise would win but still you thought they would get bet in the quarter final, you don't really have a clue, do you?

I have 5 senior championship medals so don't say I havent a clue ! Ballyhaise are playing division 1 in the league so of course they are going to be everyone's favourites! If they can win the next two games they will win the intermediate championship mark my words ....

5 senior medals doesn't prove any knowledge of football nor does playing a higher division make you a favourite. Take for example, Muntir Connaght. They have been a div 2 team for the past half dozen years. They got dismantled by Templeport at the weekend.

So when is the last time a division 4 team won the senior championship? Of course the league matters , obviously it has benefited Ballyhaise playing against the bigger teams in division one this year !

And they are Bottom of division 3 so maybe that's why they were beaten !
