The Redhills community was saddened to hear of the death on June 2 2008 of Patrick McDonald of Mullalougher. A farmer all his life, Packie was a dependable footballer with Redhills in his youth, excelling in their defence and giving all opponents a torrid time - even county players. He wore the club colours with distinction and always gave as good as he got.
