Connolly, Terry

Formerly of Pottlebawn, Kilcogy, Terry died in Slough, Buckinghamshire last March and was a great lover of Mullahoran GAA, as well as the Cavan team. He had been a keen GAA supporter, even after emigrating to England in the 1950s where he became a member of the Irish community in London. Terry had made the annual pilgrimage to Croke Park to attend All-Ireland football finals when he was able and at his funeral his coffin was draped with a Mullahoran jersey. He was predeceased by his devoted wife Maureen and brothers Harry, Jim and Hugh and survived by his other brothers Pat, Ballymachugh and Peter, who lives in Slough, and his sisters Mrs Annie Fitzsimons, Mrs Molly Mannion and Mrs Chrissie Reynolds.
