Finn, Maura


Maura was an avid sports fan who was particularly passionate about hurling and camogie, having been a great camogie and badminton player herself. Maura was originally from Tipperary and met her husband Noel whilst working together in the post office in Monaghan Town. Known as a kind and generous person, she saved her brother Tom's life 12 years ago by twice donating bone marrow, when he suffered from leukaemia. Maura passed away on March 17th after a short illness and is survived by her husband Noel and her children Robert and Catriona, brothers Micheál, Tom and Kevin, sisters Patricia, Kathleen and Una.
