Fr Felim McGovern, The Presbytery, Farnham Street, Cavan and formerly Drumcoura, Ballinamore, County Leitrim passed away on Wednesday, September 13th, 2017. Felim was a skilled footballer in his youth and played with his local club as well as the MacRory Cup team at St Patrick's College in Cavan. He also represented Leitrim at minor level. Fr Felim's late father, Felix, was also an outstanding footballer, who represented Ballinagh and won two Ulster SFCs with Cavan.
