Popular publican Sean Fitzpatrick from Main Street, Killeshandra passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 16th, 2016. His death caused widespread shock amongst his many friends and family. A native of Keevey, Cornafean, Sean was one of five brothers. He togged out for Cornafean in his youth and continued to follow the club's fortunes all his life. His coffin was draped in the Cornafean jersey as his remains arrived at St Brigid's Church for his funeral mass.
