John Finnegan of Curkish, Bailieborough, who passed away on Thursday, December 8th, 2017, was a much-liked and popular member of the local community, where he served Bailieborough Shamrocks as vice-president. A very quiet, friendly and unassuming individual, he was also greatly involved in athletics as a young man.
