Holders Dublin and Louth are safely through to the Leinster MFC semi-finals.
In last night's quarter-finals, Dublin were emphatic 5-11 to 0-9 winners over Wexford at Parnell Park, while Louth defeated Wicklow 1-11 to 1-7 in Hunterstown to remain on course for Leinster final appearances at senior, U20 and minor level.
The semi-final pairings are Kildare v Dublin and Longford v Louth.
Two goals in the opening five minutes from Cillian McCabe and Senan Bolger set Dublin up for a 17-point win over a Wexford side who had surprised Meath in the preliminary quarter-final. Charlie Loughran added a third goal before half-time, while Fintan Lydon and Rian Doherty also raised green flags in the second half.
Cillian McQuillan scored 1-3 for Louth as they saw off Wicklow. Johnny Clekin's charges led by 0-7 to 0-2 at half-time and McQuillan's major extended their advantage before Tom Doyle grabbed a late consolation goal for Wicklow who lost their captain Mark Kinsella to a second yellow card in the 53rd minute.
