Sheffield United FC have released a GAA inspired video to help confirm the news that Republic of Ireland defender John Egan has signed a new four-year contract with the club.

The video shows past footage of Egan’s father, John snr, during his playing days with Kerry and also features commentary from legendary broadcaster Michéal O’Hehir.

Egan made 36 Premier League appearances last season for Sheffield United and the club released the below video this afternoon to confirm his stay:
