Brid Stack has reportedly not sustained any serious damage from the injury she picked up in action for Greater Western Sydney Giants.
There were fears that the former Cork ladies footballer damaged her spine in a practice match against Adelaide Crows at the Norwood Oval on Sunday.
However, those fears have been allayed after Cork LGFA tweeted that there was “positive news coming from Australia" with the 11-time All-Ireland winner set to make a full recovery.
"Positive news coming from Australia where Brid Stack will make a full recovery from her injury," Cork LGFA tweeted.
"She is in the best of care with all in GWS Giants and all of us in Cork LGFA and indeed Ladies Football wish her a speedy and indeed full recovery."
