Race Night      

Players fundraising race night  will  take place on next Friday August 26th at 9pm in Murtagh's lounge, & will be MC'd by Dudley Farrell.  Price of a horse is €10, or anyone who wishes to be a  sponsor the night may do so for €30. This promises to be a great night, and no doubt Dudley will be his usual entertaining self! All players should have their cards in at this stage!  Still looking for sponsors! If interested please contact Phil Smith, any player, or any committee member. 

Exam Results  

Congratulations to all of  our players who received their Leaving Cert  results  on Wednesday last!  Hopefully everyone will make the right choice and get what they wish for!  

Championship Match 

Kingscourt Stars hosted an intermediate championship match between Shercock and Drumgoon last Sunday evening with a result of Shercock 1-10 Drumgoon 0-8. Thanks to all committee members who helped out on the evening!  

Defibrillator Training   

Still waiting for names for  first response/defibrillator which will take place in the late Autumn. It is vital that one or two representatives from each section undergoes the training. Please forward names to Phil Smith, or any committee member as soon as possible. The training will take place for four hours on one evening, & will be facilitated by Bailieborough Red Cross, who come with excellent credentials. Remember this training may save a life!   

Lotto

Minors      

Kingscourt minor training Sundays @ at 10am, &  Thursdays at 7.30,  in preparation for the championship! First round of the  Minor C championship this Tuesday August 23rd V Maghera in Maghera at 7pm. Best of luck to team and management.   

Gogglebox 

The popular reality TV series Googlebox is coming to Ireland and they are looking for a GAA family to voice their opinions on what's on the telly!

Seniors    

Well done to manager Bernie Murray and panel after Kingscourt beat Crosserlough on Saturday to get through to the quarter finals with a final score of Kingscourt 1-12 Crosserlough 0-8 Stars They will now play Ramor Utd. 

U16s    

 Next round U16 championship V Blackwater Gaels on Thursday August 25th at 7.30pm at home. All players be at pitch at 6.45pm please! Training every Sunday morning at 10am, & Tuesdays @ 8pm.      

Juveniles   

U14 championship Kingscourt Stars 3-8 Denn 4-11 played last Tuesday! Next round V Drumgoon on Monday August 29th at 7pm away! U14 training on Mondays & Thursdays at 7.30pm at pitch. U12 training on Thursdays 6:30-7:30pm. U8 training Saturdays 12pm-1pm. €2 per child. All players remember to have a gum shield!    

U12s 

Well done to Kingscourt under 12's eleven aside team that beat Arva 1-12 to 1-11  advance to the Group F final against Cootehill on the weekend of 2nd-3rd-4th September in Kingspan Breffni Park. In a thrilling match, Kingscourt were losing 0-3 to 1-7 at half time but a late rally from the lads secured a final spot against Cootehill. Best of luck in the final!  

Kingscourt Ladies   

Ladies training continues on Wednesday & Friday at 7.15pm. Training for U14 and U16 girls Monday & Thursday at 6.45pm on the pitch. Girls U12 training for all girls born 2004/2005 Fridays 8pm-9pm community center. All welcome!    

Hurling
