Senior Men

Well done to our Senior men on their 1-8 to 0-10 win over Arva on Saturday last in Rory O'Moore Park. 

Belturbetv Arva: Cian Vaughan, John Cahill, Mark Teevan, Peter Shannon, Kevin McConnell, Killian Murray, Shane Fitzpatrick, Mark Lawlor, Fionan O’Reilly, Augustas Saulis, Brendan Vesey(0-1), Stuart Dunne, Enda Henry(1-7 4f), Colum Dennehy, Jack O’Callaghan. Subs: Liam Vesey, Alan Brown, Donal McDonald, Fionan Donohoe. Our Seniors travel to Edwin Carolan Community Park, Mullagh this Saturday April 16 at 6pm to take on Cuchulainns in Round 4 of the League.

 

 

Senior Ladies

Well done to our Senior ladies on their 1-9 to 1-5 win over Mullahoran on Sunday last in Our Lady of Lourdes Park. Our Senior ladies host Templeport this Friday April 15 at 7pm in Rory O'Moore Park. 

 

Reserves

Well done to our lads who followed up the seniors home win over Arva last Saturday  with an impressive 1-13 to 2-6 win over Gowna in their second game in the ACFL Reserve Division 2 League in Rory O'Moore Park on Sunday last. A special shout out goes to Mark Lawlor, Killian Murray, Jack O'Callaghan, Alan Brown and Colum Dennehy who played today having played yesterday evening also. The Rorys were on top in the first half with Paddy and Damien O'Reilly the midfield pairing which gave an attacking platform to build on. Damien O'Reilly, Captain Evan O'Reilly and V Captain Brian Wallace were the first half scorers for Belturbet as they carried a 0-8 to 1-3 lead into the half time break with them.

In the second half Belturbet tacked on 1-5 to their first half scoreline with Damien, Jack O'Callaghan, Colum Dennehy and Brian Wallace the scorers with Brian finding the onion bag in the second half. Well done to the squad of players and management of Gareth and Cormac who have started the campaign impressively.  Belturbet: Gavin Brady, Alan Brown, Ben Murphy, Killian Murray, Mark Lawlor, Sean Grogan, Paddy O'Reilly, Damien O'Reilly, Brian Wallace, Colum Dennehy, Evan O'Reilly(C), Gareth Fitzpatrick, Ronan Vesey. St Pats Cavan

Congratulations to St.Pat's Cavan and our three Belturbet players Aaron Beatty, Giles McConnell and Jakub Iwanski who starred in the schools' 2-12 to 2-8 Oisin McGrath Cup Final win over St. Coleman's Newry on Thursday last.

Pop Up Shop

We will be running a pop up shop on Main Street from the 13th April to raise much needed funds for our juvenile teams. If you have any clothes/toys/furniture etc that are in a good condition and you would like to donate, it would be greatly appreciated. 

 

U15s

Our U15s host Templeport at 7pm this evening in the U15 Division 3 League in Rory O'Moore Park. 

 

U13s

Hard luck to our U13 boys  who lost out by 5-20 to 5-10 to Blackwater Gaels on Saturday last in Round 1 of the Division 3 League in Rory O'Moore Park. 

 

U12 Girls

Our U12 girls  defeated  Drumlane by 0-21 to 0-8 on  Saturday last in the League in Rory O'Moore Park. Our U12 girls travel to Crowe Park this Saturday April 16 to take on Lacken at 1pm. 

 

U14 Girls

Our U14 girls lost out to Lurgan in Dolan Park on Friday last in the U14 Division 4 League. Our U14 Girls host Drumgoon at 6.30 pm this evening Wednesday. 

 

Reserves

Our Reserves host Gowna at 1.30pm this Sunday April 10 in Rory O'Moore Park. 

 

U17s

Our U17s defeated Drumgoon by 3-19 to 3-2 on Tuesday April 5 in Rory O'Moore Park. 

 

U16 Girls

Our U16 girls lost out by 2-8 to 5-15 in the Division 4 League in Rory O'Moore Park  to Knockbride on Sunday last. Our U16 girls travel to O'Connell Park, Milltown this evening Wednesday to face Drumlane at 6.30 pm

Club Membership    

Many thanks for your continued strong and loyal support for our club. Family Membership in Club Belturbet is €300 for the year or €240 for the year for an individual membership in Club Belturbet.  If any member wishes to purchase the regular membership the fee for the year is €50. Membership fees for 2022 can be paid  to our club chairman Gene O'Reilly, Vice-Chairman Micheal Gorby or indeed any of the club committee.
