Cornafean Gfc Fundraiser

Cornafean Gfc are pleased to announce their upcoming fundraiser First Annual Duck Race which will take place on Saturday 27th November at Cornafean Pitch.  Tickets are on sale at €20 per duck or €50 for 3 ducks and are available from all Club members.  Also available online on Clubspot. Cornafean GFC  would like to thank their friends and club members for their continued support.

Cornafean Senior Scor Quiz Team

Best of luck to the Cornafean Senior Scor Quiz Team who will represent their Club and County in the delayed 2020 All Ireland Scor Finals on this Saturday 20th November.  The team members are Martin Maguire, Tommy McGibney, Brian Doyle, Michael Dinneny.  This event will take place in the Bekan Centre of Excellence near Castlebar, Co. Mayo.

 

 

Fitness Classes Cornafean Sports Hall

Running classes for beginners Fridays at 7 p.m.  €5 per class or €25 for six weeks

Circuit classes starting Wednesdays at 7 p.m.  €8 per class or €40 for six weeks

Classes are open to both men and women over 18 years of age.

Cornafean 4-12

Bailieboro 6-5

A four goal burst from the Reds in the first half compliments of Amy McIntyre 2, Amber McIntyre and Niamh McCaffrey had the Reds up by 9 points at the break but a strong second half from the resurgent Bailieoboro girls resulting in them scoring two late goals had the Reds hanging on at the death for a narrow win.  Well done to the girls on their hard earned win and next up is Lacken on this Sunday morning in Lacken at 11 am.

 

U20 Division 4 Championship

Cornafean 5-11  Ballinagh 1-9

Game played in Cornafean on Saturday last and well done to the team and management.  Next up for this team is Belturbet.  Wishing the lads the best of luck.
