Bronagh Sheridan celebrates after scoring a goal for Skryne in the Meath JFC final against St. Pats at Trim

Skryne made up for their disappointing loss to Clann na nGael in the 2020 Meath Ladies Junior Football Championship final when overcoming St. Pats last Saturday at Lomans Park.

Under the guidance of former Meath senior manager Mick O’Dowd, the Tara ladies came good on a 3-10 to 2-9 scoreline in tough conditions at the Trim venue to land the junior championship crown.

Their cause was helped by former All Star nominee and Cavan stalwart Bronagh Sheridan who was outstanding when the Breffni County claimed the 2013 All Ireland IFC title.

The former Drumlane attacker scored 2-6 and was the main driving force as Skryne claimed the title.

Sheridan toured with the Ladies All Stars on their 2014 trip to Hong Kong and was instrumental when Parnells of London captured All-Ireland club intermediate honours in 2012.
