Denn and Templeport will finally square off in the 2020 Cavan junior football championship final this Saturday evening at Kingspan Breffni.

The two clubs had originally been scheduled to play the Sean Leddy Cup decider on October 4th of last year before a positive Covid-19 case caused the game to be postponed.

With the government restrictions that followed in the weeks after, the final was put off until a suitable date was found and now, more than 10 months later, Denn and Templeport will finally come face to face at Cavan GAA headquarters with promotion to the intermediate ranks on the line.

The winners on Saturday have already been drawn to play Cornafean in their IFC opener in a couple weeks’ time.

Throw-in for Saturday’s final is at 6.00pm and admission to Kingspan Breffni will be by ticket only.
