Cavan Seniors

Hard luck to the Cavan Senior team who were relegated to Division 3 of the Allianz League following their two point loss to Roscommon on Saturday last in Kingspan Breffni. Cavan take on Monaghan this Saturday October 31 in Clones in the Ulster Championship Preliminary Round.

 

Congratulations Jim and Mary

Congratulations to Mary and Jim McElgunn who celebrate d60 years of marriage on Tuesday last from all at the club. Two fantastic people who have played a massive role in our town and our club. We wish you both many more happy years of married life together.

 

Congratulations Eoin & Louise

Congratulations to our Senior Player Eoin McGuigan and his wife Louise on the birth of their second son Henry James McGuigan from all at the club.

 

Carpark closed for renovations

The carpark at Rory O'Moore Park is closed for the foreseeable future due to ongoing works on renovations of the car park. Those wishing to use the walking track are asked to enter via the gate on the Fair Green and when parking not to block any of the resident's cars.

 

Suspension of Games

All games have been suspended until further notice due to the ongoing Coivd-19 pandemic.

 

Walking Track 

Our Walking track around the pitch is open every day from 9am-11am with an 10am-11am slot for the vulnerable. It will also be open from 6pm to 8pm in the evenings. Patrons are advised to comply with the 2 metre social distancing requirements(one way system only). 

 

Golf Club 

Belturbet Golf Club is offering all non-golf club members, who are members of our  football club, a special membership rate for 2020 now that golf clubs have reopened. The 'Lockdown' rate is €200 all-inclusive and is available to those without a handicap but with an affiliation to a local football club (only applicable for 2020) Further details available from  Vincent Walsh (087) 2456791  or  Ann Rahill (086) 3859852. 


Club Belturbet Membership 

It is important to remember that everyone in the community is welcome to become a member of the club, and it is certainly in your best interests to do so as you will have full use of the walking track and facilities, without membership you are not insured and unfortunately are not covered to use the track.

Club Lotto 

 

Please note that the club lotto draw is suspended indefinitely due to Covid-19.
