The Seniors Alert Scheme (SAS)

Available to support the more vulnerable people living in our communities. It provides funding for a personal monitored alarm which is connected to a monitoring centre. It enables older persons, of sixty five or over, to continue to live in their homes with a sense of security and maintain a level of independence.

The Scheme is funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development  with equipment made available through community or voluntary organisations that are registered with Pobal under the SAS.

If you have a relative, neighbour or friend who you feel may benefit in these difficult times you can contact your local Garda Station for further information or alternatively log onto
