Blotto
The Blotto Draw took place on Monday 28th March. The winning numbers were 6,16,20,22. There was no jackpot winner. The weekly winners of €25 were Kathleen Maguire, Pascal Walsh Lismeen Lower, Pat Cooke Ardvarney, Elizabeth Donohoe, Tom Smith Togher. The next draw will be on Monday 4th April in The Crosskeys Inn. Jackpot is now €12,650.

Club Membership.
2016 Club Membership is now due and remains the same as in 2015. The 31st March deadline for submission of all registered members to Croke Park is fast approaching.  In order to be entitled to the rights of a full member, a person must have their fees paid to the club. Rates are the same as in 2015. All players need to pay membership in order to be covered by the Player Injury Scheme. Anyone that uses the club's facilities, even if it is only walking around the pitch must be fully paid up members to be insured. Social membership is also available for both individuals and families. Individual social membership costs E15 and Family social membership costs E30. Please contact club Treasurer Sean Smith on 087 8568832 or [email protected] .

Spring League
Round 4 of Division 3 of the Spring League will be on Saturday 2nd April. Denn will host Killinkere at 5pm in St Matthews Park, Crosskeys.

Cavan Senior Team
Good luck to Tomas Corr and the Cavan Senior team & Management against Galway in Round 7 of the Allianz Division 2 League on Sunday next 3rd April in Kingspan Breffni Park. A win will see promotion to Division 1.

Denn GFC Monthly Meeting
The monthly meeting of Denn GFC will take place on Thursday 31st March at 9pm in the clubrooms. All members are asked to attend.

GAA Gaeltacht Scholarships.
Interviews for the Cavan County Board GAA  Gaeltacht scholarships to Donegal will be held in Hotel Kilmore, Cavan on Saturday, April 9th, between 10am and 1pm. These scholarships are available to students between the ages of twelve and eighteen years. For further information please contact Eugene Kiernan (086 2759094) or Geraldine Duggan( 086 8551477).

Underage Leagues
The draws were made recently for the underage leagues.
Under 16 League
Denn will play in Division 3 of the Under 16 League which commences Tuesday 5th April. In Round 1 the team play Drumalee in St Matthews Park, Crosskeys at 7pm.
Under 12 League
Denn will play in the Green Group of the Under 12 League which starts on Monday 11th April against Cavan Gaels in Terry Coyle Park at 7pm.
Under 14 League
Denn will play in Division 3, Group 2 of the Under 14 League which commences Thursday 21st April against St Joseph's at 7.15pm in St Matthew's Park, Crosskeys.

Youth2Work(Y2W)
Getting Young People into Jobs - Creating Opportunity to Live & Work Locally
Through Youth2Work (Y2W), a highly innovative and dynamic Initiative, the GAA in partnership with Microsoft and FIT want to help drive awareness of the emerging job opportunities in tech and related sectors in the greater Cavan region.   More than that, the objective of Y2W is to make sure that new job opportunities are accessible to young people locally through appropriate training opportunities, career advice and placement supports.  The ultimate goal of Y2W is to enable young people get a quality job - ideally within their locality with a local business. As part of its roll-out, Y2W will now host a range of events and activities across Cavan commencing with Y2W Tech Careers Expo - an informative and enjoyable event which will offer advice and hands-on support in securing employment locally.  3 Y2W Tech Careers Expo will take place at 7.00 p.m. in the following venues - The Kilmore Hotel, Cavan Town on the 4th April; The Riverfront Hotel, Virginia on the 18th April; The Slieve Russell Hotel, Ballyconnell 2nd May.   (Register at [email protected] ) On the night participants will get information on the types of skills currently in demand with local employers.  They will be able to apply for relevant courses provided by Cavan Monaghan Education and Training Board (CMETB) at each event. The courses promoted and supported by Y2W emphasise -Smart People with Smart Skills - primarily focusing on equipping young people with skills in areas such as Business & Administration, Logistics & Warehousing, Retail, Tourism & Customers Care and tech skills in areas such as PC Maintenance; Software Development, Social Media / Digital Marketing and Web Development. Y2W will support members of the GAA community and the wider community to commence and successfully complete the journey to quality employment with one-to-one mentoring and support.

Dalton Cup
Good luck to the Denn representatives on the St Patrick's College Dalton Cup team who have reached the semi-final after a comprehensive won over St Pius, Magherafelt.

Danske Bank Corn Mac Neasa
Good luck to the Denn representatives on the St Clares College, Ballyjamesduff team, James Brady, Mark Fitzsimons & Kevin Tierney who play Loreto Community School, Milford in the final of the Danske Bank Corn Mac Neasa (Under 14 'B' Football).

Couch to 5K
Denn GAA Juvenile Football Club have resumed their Couch to 5K. There is a personal trainer onsite. Classes continue every Tuesday and Thursday night from 8pm - 9pm. Everyone welcome - all ages, walkers, joggers, runners. The cost is just membership and E2 per session.

Camogie

Castlerahan/Denn Ladies
U14/U16 & Adult
Any new or old players who wish to start or get back in to football are more than welcome to play. Castlerahan/Denn will be entering the Adult league and championship on their own this year for the first time in 11 years.
