Galway captain Sarah Dervan is tipping Kilkenny to edge Cork in Sunday’s All-Ireland senior camogie championship final at Croke Park.

Kilkenny were 1-13 to 0-12 winners over the Tribesmen in the semi-finals last Saturday week, while Cork had a come from behind win over Waterford at headquarters.

Speaking to RTE Sport ahead of this weekend’s O’Duffy Cup decider, Dervan said she is expecting a fantastic battle between the two sides which she sees the Cats coming out on top in.

"Kilkenny seem to have different leaders on different days. I’m giving them the nod by a point or two, but in saying that, I think Cork will relish this opportunity and are probably coming in in the best way possible, not playing overly well in an All-Ireland semi-final,” said the two-time All-Ireland winning captain.

"It might give them the kick they need.

"Cork will come into the game full of confidence, but I think Kilkenny will have that little bit extra."
