Pete McGrath could be about to make a quick return to inter-county football management with Antrim.
While Frank Fitzsimons and Gearóid Adams are keen to continue as joint-managers of the Saffrons, their fate will be decided by a review committee who could opt for change. And if this happens, McGrath may be in line to take the reins according to the Belfast Telegraph.
The 1991 and '94 All-Ireland winning Down boss resigned as Fermanagh manager seven days ago after a player heave against him. However, it would be a surprise if he isn't involved with some inter-county team next year.
