Dublin could play a Leinster SFC game outside Croke Park for the first time in 10 years next summer if they are paired with opposition from the southern half of the province in tonight's draw.

The All-Ireland champions haven't travelled outside the capital for a provincial championship game since June 2006 when they beat Longford by two points at a packed Glennon Brothers Pearse Park. Having won 10 of the last 11 Leinster championships, it has been suggested that they enjoy an unfair advantage by playing all their games at GAA headquarters, with calls growing ever louder for them to play down the province.

According to the Irish Independent, however, Nowlan Park in Kilkenny is the only Leinster venue considered suitable for a game involving Jim Gavin's men because of its 24,000-capacity, 17,000 of which is seated. O'Connor Park in Tullamore has the next biggest seating capacity in Leinster with 7,000, following by O'Moore Park in Portlaoise with 6,000.

Dublin, who are by far the biggest crowd pullers in the GAA, would need to be paired with one of Laois, Wexford or Carlow in next year's Leinster SFC quarter-final if Nowlan Park was to come into the reckoning.
