Rebels ring the changes

The Cork team to play Laois in the second round of the NHL on Saturday evening shows a number of changes from the side that drew with Limerick last week.

Darren McCarthy starts in goals ahead of Anthony Nash while Stephen McDonnell, Seamus Harnedy and captain Pa Cronin all return from injury and are included at full back, left half forward and full forward respectively.

Manager Jimmy Barry Murphy has also handed starts to Colm Spillane, Paul Haughney, Michael O'Sullivan and Alan Cadogan.

Aidan Walsh, who made his debut in the opening round, and Eoin Cadogan are both unavailable due to commitments with the senior footballers.
