It has emerged that Creggan Kickhams may have fielded a second underage player in the All-Ireland Club JHC final replay against Ballysaggart last Saturday.
The Waterford club - who lost the replay on a scoreline of 1-11 to 1-7 - are objecting to the replay result because they allege that 16 year old Conor Small shouldn't have been allowed to line out for Antrim and Ulster champions Creggan as he is underage.
The Irish Examiner reports today that Kickhams fielded a second U-16 player, Donal Carey, who was a member of Antrim's U-16 development squad last year along with Small.
Both players featured in the All-Ireland semi-final and final but played no part in the club's run up to that point.
The CCCC will hear Ballysaggart's objection tonight (Wednesday) and a ruling is expected tomorrow.
