Dublin will wear a suicide prevention slogan on their jerseys when they meet Westmeath in Saturday week's Leinster SFC quarter-final at Croke Park.

Sponsors Vodafone have given the green light to the slogan 'Pieta House - Mind Our Men' - to appear on the famous sky blue shirts. The Dublin hurlers will also sport the same logo when they face Wexford in their Leinster SHC quarter-final seven days later at Wexford Park.

Last weekend, Carlow's senior footballers and hurlers had the words 'Suicide Aware: Living Is Winning' emblazoned across the back of their jerseys.

Meanwhile, Dublin chairman Andy Kettle says he's confident of securing a replacement sponsor for Vodafone, whose lucrative deal ends later this year.

"We feel that the brand is capable of generating that kind of revenue (over €4 million over three years)," he said in the Irish Independent.

"I suppose today isn't the day to talk about a new sponsor because of what the present sponsor is doing. What we're doing at the moment is putting together a presentation identifying potential sponsors.
