The Dublin senior football championship semi-finals are down for decision this weekend, with four teams battling for a place in the county final.

Thomas Davis face Castleknock at Parnell Park on Saturday at 5.30pm, with both sides aiming to take another step towards glory in the capital.

Both clubs have negotiated their way through the earlier rounds and will know that another victory would put them within touching distance of the title.

Sunday’s second semi-final sees reigning champions Ballyboden St Enda’s take on Cuala at 4pm, also at Parnell Park.

'Boden will be looking to keep their title defence on track, while Cuala will be hoping to reach the final to leave themselves a win away from what would be a second county SFC crown in three years.

With a place in the decider at stake, two intriguing games are in store as the championship in the capital reaches its business end.
