Holders and Kilcar renew rivalry in Donegal SFC quarter-final

Holders Naomh Conaill will meet Kilcar for the second time in a matter of weeks after they were paired together in the Donegal SFC quarter-final draw.

Naomh Conaill prevailed by 1-18 to 1-13 in the group phase eight days ago, but will face Kilcar again after they edged out neighbours Naomh Columba by 0-13 to 0-11 yesterday to reach the last-eight. A pair of second half two-pointers from Ryan McHugh got Kilcar over the line.

In other the quarter-finals, St Michael’s will face Glenswilly, MacCumhaill's will meet last year's runners-up Gweedore, while St Eunan's will play Dungloe. The games take place on the weekend after next.
