Brian Lohan wasn't making an issue of the black card that never was during Clare's gut-wrenching All-Ireland SHC semi-final defeat to Limerick.
The Banner were caught by a late Limerick rally after Tony Kelly's penalty with 15 minutes remaining had put them 1-19 to 0-16 up. However, the incident that led to the penalty sparked huge debate - Clare supporters were adamant that Limerick goalkeeper Nickie Quaid should have been black-carded at least for catching Peter Duggan after he flicked the ball over his head while running through.
"Look, those calls are tough calls to make," the gracious Clare manager told RTÉ.
"I'll take your word for it if you think he got it right. We're not going to have any complaints.
"We came up, we gave everything we had. We felt we needed 110% from all our players - and we probably got 110%. But we probably needed 115%. It was one of those kind of days, one of those kind of performances.
"We'll have to congratulate Limerick and look forward to the All-Ireland final now."
