Bernard Brogan proved that class is permanent by playing a starring role for St Oliver Plunkett Eoghan Ruadh in their Dublin JFC1 final victory at the weekend.
The 41-year-old Dublin legend came off the bench to score three of his side’s four second half points in a 0-9 to 0-7 win over St Patrick’s, Donabate. Afterwards, he shared a photo alongside his father and fellow All-Ireland SFC winner Bernard Snr, and his sons Keadan and Donagh.
“Nice to collect what might be my last silverware! Hup Plunketts,” the former Footballer of the Year enthused.
Brogan previously won two SFC2 titles with the Navan Road club as well as seven All-Ireland SFC titles, 13 Leinster SFC titles, five Allianz Leagues and four All-Stars in a glittering inter-county career.
